So you want to know more huh? Well grab yourself a coffee, or whisky if you’re feeling adventurous, and make yourself comfortable. Here goes…
First of all, hi, I’m Andy, a freelance Motion Graphics & VFX Artist based in West Yorkshire. I’m pretty sure I told you that already on the homepage, but worth repeating just in case you weren’t paying attention or something.
Before going freelance, I was a one-man graphics band for a television production company, where my boss eloquently said I “helped keep clients happy from Silicon Valley to Shepherds Bush”. I loved the work, I was able to develop my skillset and work on some amazing shows, pushing the boundaries of the graphics we were able to produce in-house. But after three years I was pretty exhausted and needed a change of pace. So I made the leap to freelancing, and here I am!
Having been in that fast-paced environment of television where each brief can be wildly different from the last, I’m used to adapting to demands of any project. Whether you’re a small business looking to draw in new customers, a big brand looking for social media adverts, a fact-ent TV series needing graphics to aid the story, or a drama needing some visual effects magic – I can make it happen.
In my spare time you’ll find me hanging out with my beloved dog Oakley, out on hikes, doing some photography, exploring the local waterways on our kayak, and generally just adventuring.
